Dj Kimo

Kimanie JL, alias Dj Kimo, is a well established young DJ from the Caribbean island of Saint-Martin, Sint-Maarten. Lulled by the different genres of music that his father, a sound engineer, used to play in the family home from his early childhood, Kimanie naturally followed in his father's footsteps. Having performed his first wedding gig at the age of 16, he knew instantly that being a DJ was meant for him. However, this dream had to be momentarily put on hold for a period of six years, during which the future local star would have to leave his island to pursue his studies. In 2019, after completing these, Dj Kimo returned to his island to pick up where he left off. Today, he is one of the most respected and appreciated Djs in his field. Not limiting himself to a single genre, he continues to break barriers in hopes of one day becoming an international DJ.

Some of Dj Kimo's most notable residencies include 978 Sanctorum and 978 Beach (2019 - Present), 3 amigos (2022), The Saint-Dive Bar (2022), Captain Frenchy (2020) or The Sxm Brewery (2020).
